Wellness Coaching
Wellness Coaching takes one beyond weight loss, beyond physical training,
or basic nutrition to "Life as a Health Style"..
Yet Wellness Coaching still works with a favorite weight loss program,
a physical trainer, or nutritionist and will even enhance the progress.
Wellness Coaching will help a person to understand the psychology of being
healthy, physically fit, trim, and full of energy. In short, wellness will
become the very essence of a person every day, instead of something a person
does when they feel the need. In many cases people are in deep trouble,
physically and/or emotionally, by the time they notice a need to do something
about health and fitness.
Here are just a few of the topics covered in this coaching. Reduce stress.
Balancing the body, mind and emotions. Weight reduction versus weight loss
and the psychology behind each. Creating a target and new vision. Creating
an eating plan and fitness plan that supports the lifestyle. The challenges
of today's food supply, physical environment, and mental stress. Learning
insights to the world of supplements. How to get rid of addictions, habits,
and cravings that do not support an optimum health style. Learn how your
body works in simple terms. What the right type of fitness plan should
be. How to put it all together and create the passion to keep it going.
How to have fun and enjoy wellness.
To accomplish this we have developed a program called the "Six Stages to
Ultimate Health". Each stage lasts 6-8 weeks with a weekly meeting. It
is offered as personal one on one coaching or group coaching. Both are done
right out the comfort of the home via the telephone. The coach will help
keep the client(s) on track and accountable for the assigned tasks. The
goal is that the graduate will not only accomplish Ultimate Health, they
will have the knowledge to maintain a state of Ultimate Health.
Six Stages to Ultimate Health

body back to functional health.
· Clean Up - Clean out the old stored
garbage, and keep it clean.
· Physical Conditioning
- Correct exercise, correct breathing, what is really needed, make it fun.
· Education - The real information
that is required to maintain ultimate health.
· Putting it All Together
- Bring all the information into a lifestyle of health.
· Connection - Listening to the body,
connect with the Emotional body and Spiritual body, connect with Nature.
Six Stages to Ultimate Health
1) Damage Control
In this stage the body is brought to a point where it can function at
a level to match the daily activity. This is done through correct nutrition
intake, weight control, disease control, stress control, physical activity,
and a clear positive definition of health.
2) Clean Up
Now that one can at least function throughout the day there is the problem
of all the accumulated garbage in the body from the past. This is the only
time that the past does equal the future , especially if it is not cleaned
up. Different methods of cleansing are presented to match the needs of
a particular person and situation. The reason for annual cleansing is brought
forth and a plan for annual cleansing is created.
3) Physical Conditioning
Most people combine this stage with stage one and go way beyond their abilities
to actually create a condition that causes more problems that is solves.
Most people start this stage without even a clear image of what they what
their body to look like. The first task is to create that vision of what
the body is to look like and then put together a plan to get it there and
keep it there. This is a good place to have a personal trainer to help
one do everything in a way that will not cause injury and PDCS will work
closely with one. A person will learn the correct way of breathing for exercise
and to maintain health, as well as reduce stress. Above all else this must
all be fun!
4) Education
In this stage the reasons for some of the things that were done in the
earlier stages will become clear. It is here that a foundation is created
so that patterns are broken. After this section the mind will have the
reasons to keep up the routine instead of excuses to remain the same. This
stage reveals the importance of PH balance, specific nutrient needs, the
toxins in the food and environment, and creating a daily meal plan.
5) Putting It
All Together
It is time to bring the information of the other stages into a balanced,
flowing life style that makes wellness who one is , instead of what the
do when it is needed. Time is then spent on creating the drive to continue
the process for life. By this time the body, mind, and emotions will begin
crave the routine and can even respond when it is ignored.
6) Connection
Through the stages one should start feeling more balanced and natural.
The re reduction and elimination of processed foods allows for more connection
with the body and it is time to learn how to listen to the body. It is
important to learn to become more aware of the surroundings and what is
happening to them. As a person becomes more aware of their body and thoughts
they become connected with their surroundings and then more aware of others.
As changes are made others will notice and an example of what having "Ultimate
Wellness" can be seen..
